We have been so VERY impressed with our backup vendor for providing such amazing products and service that we are now consulting them on a regular basis to help keep our software, security and equipment ahead of the game. In the coming months, we will implement phase 3 of our network upgrades. We will be implementing a new firewall system that will greatly improve our already exceptional data protection plan. Yellow and Blue make what color?  Yeah that's right.. We've gone GREEN! Blue Line Web Solutions is proud to be a Carbon Neutral Hosting company.

We recently had a discussion around the topic of carbon emissions and unanimously agreed that as a responsible host we want to become carbon neutral.  In order to achieve this goal, we struggled to find the best Carbon offset program and now we plant a tree for every new account. We also purchase certified Renewable Energy Certificates which puts clean energy back into the power grid.  So for every server we use we make a donation, this donation goes to planting trees and other projects which should help to seriously reduce our carbon footprint.  In addition to going GREEN, we are starting the first of many stages to consolidate our VoIP, Microsoft and Linux infrastructure to run on top of VMWare.  This will reduce our footprint further by reducing our rack space and power inside the data centers.  We are proud to be part of an effort to save our planet.
